Our name references the caravel — the vessel that opened the world’s trade routes — because we believe African wealth deserves access to the same global opportunities available to investors anywhere.
Founded by practitioners who spent decades inside the international wealth management industry, we saw a gap: African families and expatriate professionals with real wealth but limited access to independent, conflict-free advice. Too many advisors are tied to a single platform or product range. We built Caravel to be different — genuinely independent, deeply knowledgeable about the African context, and connected to the best solutions globally.
